dc.description.abstract | The objectives of this research were: 1) to study Smart Door Lock Supply chain management, and 2) to study smart door lock supply chain management affecting firm Performance. The questionnaire was the research tool convenient random sampling method. Data for this study were collected from 388 consumer surveys, and in-depth interviews seven smart door lock companies in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. The content validity was determined to be 1.0, with a reliability of 0.88. Statistical analysis included percentages, means, standard deviations, t-values, p-values, and descriptive conclusions. Hypothesis testing was performed to evaluate the influence of these factors on firm performance. The consumer survey results revealed that consumers prioritize security, convenience, and cost-effectiveness when purchasing smart door locks. The hypothesis testing results indicated that planning, sourcing, make/production, delivery, and return all have a significant positive impact on firm performance in the smart door lock industry. The interviews with smart door lock companies revealed that they prioritize quality, innovation, and product design, and emphasize market research and partnerships with retailers for expansion. The integration of advanced technologies, such as facial recognition and voice control, is also a key focus for these companies. Overall, the research study provides valuable insights into consumer preferences, the relationship between supply chain management and firm performance, and the strategies employed by smart door lock companies. | en_US |
